1990 | vtec | sean mclanaghan says... | It still looks cool even 14 years on, it had the first vtec engine, it produced 100bhp/litre which even now is exceptional (and you can get above that with some easy engine mods) and is cheap to run and very nimble. Fantastic performance and looks for toy money. |
1988 | 1.6 | Alex Pearce says... | It has 100bhp per litre and handles superbly. The engine is superbly constructed and seems to last forever. There is a high spec for year, with sports seats as standard and full electrics. The car is not too common and therefore is very underrated and desireable because of it. One of the first Japanese hot hatches to contend with the classic Golf GTi. Its bodyshape has stood the test of time where most others have failed. |
1988 | vtec | johannes van-manen says... | Incredible value for money. reliable, quick, ridiculous fun. |
1990 | Mark 2 CRX 1.6 V-tec | Matthew Harvey says... | I will put my life's savings and my own 1992 CRX v-tec on the line to say that EVERY single person who has a drive in one will be gobsmacked that the 12 year predecessor to the Civic Type R is every bit as quick, agile and fun to drive. SOOO far ahead of all other Jap hot hatches for it's year, Performance is still unbelievable for a 1.6 (yes 1590cc) engine, and it still looks as cool as f**k! Oh, and you hardly see ANY on the roads which makes it special to own one. If you don't believe me, go and drive one and you'll see what all this fuss is about!!! |
1990 | vtec | graham philpy says... | I own one and think they are great cars. |
